Tired...kinda sick...stupid airplanes.

Miss the tennis and the tennis players and everything else that comes along with.

I have to say, I am loving the grass "season" so far.  This week I have Nando, Gael, Ivo and either Tomo or Marin Cilic in the semifinals of Nottingham, and David and Del Potro in the Netherlands (not going to try and remember the city's name, or spell it).  I don't even dislike the other two semifinalists in the latter, Giquel and Canas...it's ( Read more... )

Last week I discovered that there will be a pre-sale on tickets to the Davis Cup finals for USTA members, which I am!  SO glad I renewed, instead of letting it lapse, like I usually do.  That means I'll be able to buy my tickets on the 9th instead of the 15th.  They just announced the ticket prices as well, and I was happy to find them well within ( Read more... )

I have to say, I'm very happy with how the US Open turned out.  I would like to have seen Nole take the first set, or the second, but he's young, and he'll have his chances.  David made me particularly proud, because he's generally one of the least recognized of the Spaniards, and I just love watching him play.

I'm really happy with how the US Open is going so far.  I've only lost a couple of boys, and there haven't been any unpleasant surprises.  I really wish I could have seen Arnaud and Ivo's first round match, or Stanislas and Evgeny's.  Watching the live scores alone told me those would have been awesome to see in person.
